Wifi Fix - Only for V0.1 users. It's already fixed in V0.1.1

Well, I learned my lesson the hard way. Trying to cut corners caused a lot of wasted time and frustration on my end, and I'm sorry you guys had to deal with this flaky wifi as a result. The file responsible for all these issues was /system/framework/services.jar

But at least it's fixed

Installation Instructions
Clockwork/ROM Manager:
1. DL the file, place on SD card
2. Fire up ROM manager, install ROM from SD card

SPRecovery
1. DL the file, rename to update.zip, place on SD card
2. Reboot into recovery, install, allow update.zip, install update.zip

Optional Mods

Default_Fonts.zip - Must have the ROM installed first!

Fixed_Battery_Percentages.zip - For early adopters that don't have them in their status bar.

Reminders

-Have your screen on when you first request 'su' from adb, or else you'll miss the ninja
-Give it some time to restore your apps and then 'cool down'. Took me about an hour before the market decided to stop being molasses. If you're still having issues, go to settings, applications, manage, the all tab, and find market. Then clear the data. It should speed up after initially redownloading its cache.
-Report them bugs
-Download the Froyo baseband, if you'd like (Pete doin' big things, as always )

-If your Twitter become unthemed, go into manage applications, find Twitter, and 'uninstall updates'

How to install

These are installable .apks (signed), so you can use any file manager (such as Astro) to install them. Please note that if you have the market version of either of these launchers already, you'll have to uninstall it first.

A word about the ADW launcher
You'll need to lower the A/B scale factor to 6 in order to fix the graphic glitch (or disable the backgrounds)

Also, there's no way to theme the highlight colors anymore, as even turning off his new color picker (reverting to the old highlight style) still doesn't call upon the themed .png's. Though, you can switch the colors (looks better with the old style)

Ok this may sound weird and I don't understand it but maybe it can help anyone having wifi issues.
So originally I flashed using CW from the file "NexBeastFRF57.zip" and no luck with wifi working. I then renamed the file to "update.zip" and tried flashing it again using CW and my wifi worked! I then purposely forgot it and tried to reconnect but that put me back to the original problem of no wifi. So for those still having wifi issues, try renaming the file "update.zip" and using CW??

BTW I only tried connecting to saved wifi networks, not new ones.

If you google market fix froyo or similar you'll find it...I did that the other day and it worked, but I didn't save the link.

so is wifi working for people? it was working for me because i restored settings from my previous titanium backup. but i noticed something weird today, it wouldn't connect to any new hotspots. it only connected to the one i had already saved on my phone, which was my home wifi. once i chose "Forget", it can no longer connect to it. it just stays on "Scanning...". so basically it works if you have your wifi network saved and restored from a previous backup. and if it works, do not choose to "forget" it like i did. biiiig mistake. now i can't get it back. is anyone else having this problem?

Have you verified that it isn't working? The reports I'm seeing are that it will say scanning however it is working, people have verified by going to myip.com (or whatever it is)...

I voted that my wifi worked, but I tried to connect to another hotspot and I am having the same results as you are.

very nice rom thanks Fab and Pete, just one small issue im having i cant seem to open .xls files with the quickoffice app. when i try it says error file cannot be read. might just be my droid but figured id ask. also i installed with sprecovery and seems the wifi isnt working to a remembered connection just keeps cycling the trying to connect over an over. no biggie just thought id let ya know.
