Battery...Oh the Battery

I bet everyone thought this was going to be another griping about battery life thread. Well its actually quite opposite, I am griping about the INCREDIBLY hyperbolic battery claims I see popping up. Ive seen everything from 2hours to 50 hours on this forum and its getting ridiculous. It seems every third post is about battery life and I willing to be Evo's to Iphones that most of them are because people just can seem to figure out why their phone isint a good as someone elses phone on this board.

So in the future if your going to make some outrageous battery life claim (good or bad),accompany it with pictures or just dont post. Maybe this will stop some of the battery life thread spamming...thanks.

I know how you feel. Its ridiculous when a user says my phone lasted 50 hours.

I think people should test battery life under heavy use.

As I posted in another thread, at the very least people need to post two screen shots. OPne showing your up time and awake time, and one showing what percentage of the battery is being used by each process.

For example:

The most important (to me atleast) is the awake time. This really gives a good snapshot of how much you are actually using your device. So many people just post the second and third screen shot I posted showing the time since unplugged. That really does not prove anything. I could easily charge my phone, stick it in airplane mode for 20 hours not touch the phone, and have tons of battery left. But the awake time shows how much you are actually using your device.

Please people, post screens of your awake time along with your time since unplugged, it really tells the whole story.
