Accessories Seidio case - Give / Wobble?

I got my Seidio case the other day. It slid on with no problems and removing it is incredibly easy - I had no struggle at all, pinched the sides and pressed down gently on the bottom half and it came off effortlessly.

However, something I've noticed is that if I gently push on the right side of the phone / case (upper half) you can feel it give a little and you'll hear a clicking noise. Also, if you pinch both sides of the case on the upper half and gently "twist" forwards or backwards it wobbles (and "clicks"). There are times when I pick the phone up I can feel it "wobble". When I put the case on I pushed on the back tab and gently pinched the sides, the two halves appear to meet flush.

Does this also happen for anyone else? I was downright amazed when I put this case on, the texture feel and design look fantastic. And then I noticed the wobble and it's been driving me insane.

I've noticed the same thing. It was awesome at first, now it's slowly getting worse...It's really getting annoying, especially since the case was $30...For a $10 case I can understand, but not for $30.

Just got mine, and i've also noticed there is a little give/gap, and also the creaking noise is annoying as hell. You are right, if it was 10-15$ wouldn't mind, but $30 is a bit step for something that squeaks IMO, maybe we got defects?

You are right tho, the feel of this case is awesome, just wish that clicking/creaking/squeaking would go away

I know a Seidio Rep posts here, hopefully he will contact us and help.

Both my case and my wife's fit perfectly. No give, no wobble, no squeeking, no nothing.

I have not had to deal with seidio's customer service myself, but have heard they will make sure you are happy.

Just try their web chat to see what they recommend- I would expect you to get a new case to swap out, because when it fits properly, it is perfect.

Thank you, I just got done talking to Seidio at the online chat, and they have resolved the issue and are sending me out a replacement, AMAZING customer service.

Thanks Seidio :)

I'm having the same problem with this case. I posted this in another thread:

Unfortunately, I too am dissatisfied with the case. I purchased it based on this board's high praise and think I was better off with the HTC standard silicone case.

My problem with the case is that it fits too loosely around the phone and each time I pick it up it creaks in my hand. I'm not sure if this is by design or if I have a defective case. With the silicone case I completely forgot that it was even there; with the innocase I'm reminded of its presence every time I touch the phone.

Just received my black innocase today and it also has a loose fit. I took a business card and placed under the backside, no need to modify, the card fits perfectly. Problem solved. Case fits snug and no more creaks or wobble. Now, should I have to do this for a 30.00 case, no. I'm going to wait a couple of days before I decide to return it or not. I do like the look and feel, much better than the Verizon silicone case I was using.

In reference to my prevous post about the "clicking noise" on the right of the phone...Seidio has my replacement on the way!:D
I think I was on the phone less than 5 minutes...the person I spoke to was very nice and told me that they had some troubles with the first models to go out. Have to give customer service thus far THUMBS UP!

Trooper...did ya get your new case yet?

Just wanted to chime in on the Seidio Innocase clicking noise, especially when it's only on one side of the phone. I have the same problem but only if I push down on the case in the upper left corner. My wife's case makes no noise (same phone, same case, same screen protector).

I figured out my problem, not sure if this is/was related to what others were seeing. On my phone, the clicking sound is caused by the edge of the Seido case just ever so slightly over-lapping the screen protector on the left side. Pushing down on the case corner causes the case to move from ever so slightly over-lapping to now butting right up against the side of the screen protector, thereby causing the click as it goes up and down along the edge of the screen protector.

It's only on the left side as the right side overlaps more and doesn't have this issue.

Part of the issue is likely caused by my screen cover not being exactly centered (off perhaps less then half a millimeter). My wife's is exactly centered.

Not an issue for me as the clicks only occur very rarely during normal use and I'll be replacing the screen protector in the coming weeks. Just wanted to post this in case it is similar to what others have experienced.
