Stupid friend screwed up phone.

Hello, I set a pass code on my HTC hero and my friend did it so many times that it wanted me to enter my google account. I did not remember it at all so i did the hard reset. Everything on my phone is now deleted. Contacts, apps, personal info, and home screens. I would appreciate it if someone could help me restore my phone.

Sorry, just to clarify, by hard reset do you mean a factory reset? That's what it sounds like.

If that's the case then your home screen data isn't recoverable. Only contacts + personal info you've backed up (to google/the sim card/HTC sync etc) can be restored. The market will only remember paid apps, not free ones. So unless you've backed those up to the SD card with a backup app they also can't be restored.

Thanks for the help. I have a mac and i've downloaded songs from it onto my phone before using salling media. Is there any way that it is on the removable memory card on my phone or somewhere in salling media?

ok but how do i retrieve it from the sd card it was in my phone when i reset it and its in there now but all my contacts are gone and that is the main thing i want back

If you've saved your contacts as Google Contacts, you can get them back as soon as you sync your account with the phone. As for the Music and everything else on the SD, it's still there. If you can't see it, try reinserting the card.
