No lock is the answer you want. You just have to press a volume key to unlock. It still locks though.

No, "No Lock" is not the answer. I've tried it at it does not keep the lock pattern screen active. It kills BOTH lock screens. Like the OP says, I want to keep the lock pattern screen but get rid of the slide lock screen. Thanks for trying to help though.

Just tried it and its still showing the slide unlocker no matter what i did. Might be because im using the vanilla android locker. refunded
