Well I finally put my phone on the charger with 11% battery life yet. It was off of the charger for a little more than 42 hours! I have never had this kind of battery life before.

Last night I was at 67% and figured theres no reason to place it on the charger, woke to it at 54%.

I used my phone as normal; email, texting, calling, market, games. I really don't know why I had such good battery life. I keep my SetCPU at 767 performance when in use and charge and sleep mode are the same at 480.

That's amazing. Which rom are you using? I'm only getting like 16 hours now. Something's wrong with my setup... :( I'm using Ivan's Official Eris 1.0. Maybe I'll flash to a different rom. I've tried all different combinations off overclocking.

Edit: nevermind, i see you're using Evil Eris 3.

Ivan's is my new fav rom, 13.5 hours since charge, still at 98%...
I use Helix launcher for every rom, sense or vanilla, I turn all animation off as well

+1...Ivan's ROM rocks! (hoping for a version with JIT...:p, but I have no complaints about Eris Official 1.0)...

I get great battery life too on my stock battery, but I've turned off all kinds of auto-refresh, auto-sync, animations, etc. Its no big deal to me to refresh Gmail or whatever. I also stay on wi-fi when I can and keep 3G and wi-fi turned off when not needed. I also have a 1750 battery that is just a beast! :D

same with me everything off... I think you can JIT Ivan!!! Ive read about it being done

Yeah, I saw that thenestor did this...I'll probably wait until a more complete JIT is released (i.e., the one that should be released with the official 2.2--they're (Google) apparently still working on final tweaks to it, from what I understand). I'm a little cautious like that :D

(or, my evil plan is to actually upgrade to one of the newer phones in a month or so (I can use one of my upgrades in late July)...hoping that the Motorola Droid 2 or Droid X(treme) is available by then. That way, I'll have a day-to-day phone that I can rely on and my Eris that I can play with in my evil lab...<insert maniacal laughter here>..but I'll have even more AF threads to read...oh, well :))

Now Im not saying you're lying but over 13 hours and only 2% loss? Kind of hard to believe its reporting correctly. Ive left my phone with no use and not touching it for about 4-5 hours and got to 97%. Are you using the stock battery?

This is when I left my phone alone while I'm alseep. I keep 3g off. I dont run many apps, I have 73-80MB Ram.

Oh, ok. So basically making the phone useless. Maybe you guys should clarify that you have this turned off and that turned off when posting this type of stuff. Could confuse a lot of ppl. ;)

I suppose I could, but then again, I'm not too worried about if people believe me or not. And no, I'm not making the phone useless.... What is the point of having 3G turned on while I'm asleep. I can still receive text and phone calls. and when I wake up I turn it on and it checks for e-mail. So yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. Why not take advantage of basic functions. Makes my battery life great. I also keep my sleep profile at max245/min160. Everybody is different. Different things work for different people:D

OK, I'm much happier with my phone now. Mathematically, my phone should be running around 25 hours with light to moderate usage. I don't know if it's because of the new ROM (Sensable) or I didn't install some rogue app that was keeping my phone awake...or a combination or both.

I always leave my 3G on, but disable wifi, bluetooth, and only auto-sync gmail. I manually sync contacts and calendar.
