Problem downloading .3gp videos

I am able to take video and view it on my Eris, but if I e-mail it to my fiance's Droid, he can't view it. I tried e-mailing the video to myself, but when I try to download it from Gmail, it says "unable to fetch attachment"

How can I send video to someone else??? Is there a way to change the extension?

That's really odd. Normally its the other way around. But I'm thinking that if you can't get it, I'm sure the upload is bad. There is no real reason why you shouldn't be able to download the video.

I can view the video just fine through Gmail on my computer, but if I try to view it on my phone, it says "Cannot fetch attachment"

Thaes really strange. I've never seen that problem before.

I just tried it. It didn't work for me either. I wonder if its a bug in Gmail if it didn't work on the Droid either.

Are you using K9mail as mail client?

Since you both have droid, try this free app called YouCast. It allows you to exchange media files without file size limit. You could download the app from market://search?q=pname:com.youcast.android.UI
