I just picked up a 16GB Micro-SD card for <$60 at Office Depot on sale... beating the nearest online price by $7.00 (according to the Shopper App).

The question is, what am I going to fill all that memory goodness with?

Music?
Photos?
Videos?
What else?

Got my 16GB Sandisk MicroSD card from Buy.com for $43 delivered. I already put 9GB of music on there, and three MP4 movies totaling 2.4 GB. Photos take up another 359MB. I have some left.....

I'll probably just use it for storage. I have my iPod Touch on me most of the time for music and games. Android is my professional/social device, the iPod covers music and games. Battery life saved for all!

i tried to play some hd movies and it was mainly a slide show with some parts moving. What types of movie files are you putting on there that work? I tried avi and wmv.

Umm as my initial shock wears off, I will be doing a lot of videos for my video blog that im in the process of making, I'm a narcissistic so I'm always snapping pix of myself lol and I think I will put some movies as well

Raagh, I've already filled up 14gb of my microSD card with movies and music. I keep telling myself that that's all I'll ever need, but the emulators! They keep telling me otherwise!

Then again, I could offload some of the content onto the included 8gb card, but I'm not willing to remove the battery every time.

Yes, 2.2 is going to let you put apps on your microsd card. HOWEVER, the developer of each application has to make it allowable to do so. This means that those apps that haven't been patched for FroYo support can not be installed on the card.

The Evo ships with a class 2 microsd card. There isn't much difference in speeds when it comes to actually using it on your phone. I've got some movies loaded on my included 8gb card, and they play back just fine.

I got a funny story. I had some porn on my Western Digital Passport 500gb portable hard drive a couple months back.

I actually have a couple of those Western Digital Passport hard drives and my 15 year old Step-Daughter wanted to watch some movie I had downloaded. Well, she had a whole house full of her friends over, ages 13~16 to watch whatever movie it was while I was at work. Seems she grabbed the WRONG USB hard drive which she plugged into the TV (TV has a build in media player) and boom, hardcore barely legal teen porn.

She called mom (my wife) at work and told her. Oh what a fun night that was. Not sure what was worse, the looks I got from the house full of teenage girls when I walked in the door of my wife!

Android + 16/32gb SDCard = Perfect storage device for porn! Oh and maybe music and apps too!

Sorry I couldn't help but share my story, said and done, it's good for a laugh.

you guys paid way too much for your 16gb micro sd.....it was on sale at frys the other day for $13 AR. Class 2, but for $13 bucks, im not complaining.

Just ordered a 16GB card. My stock one was filling up fast with ROMS, HD Movies, and my music.

I paid ~$30 for my Sandisk 16GB off Amazon.

Right now it's got about 12 gigs of music and photos...that's it. Whenever 32GB cards are cheap, I'll get me one of those
