Evo Security Concern; please answer

I noticed when i was browsing my sd card on my computer for my EVO, the first folder is named "bookmark_thumb1". Inside that folder there were snapshots off all different websites that i visited on my phone most of them were from screens of my bank accounts and login screens like credit card and school. I dont understand why there were screenshots of my accounts and things liked that (they were of my bank accounts and the amount i had and such details etc..) Can somebody tell me if my sd card is suppose to be collecting this kind of info???? I though this kind of stuff was on the actual browser in the cache/cookies which i always clear but evidently doing that did nothing. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE "BOOKMARK_THUMB" FOLDER ON THEIR SD CARD WITH WEBSITE/PRIVATE INFO HISTORY????? Furthermore i was thinking maybe an application from the market was causing this and the only ones i have are Txtpad Lite which only has access to sd card content and Missle intercept and other official google apps. Maybe im thinking too much into this but it makes me suspicious when i see my personal info from numerous websites stored on my sd card especially when it was done without my knowledge... Can anyone tell me why this happens or does anyone have any info on this? It would be much appreciated.

I deleted them all thinking I could clear my bookmarks widget - no dice. The EVO locked up and I had to yank the battery out to reset.

Yep. I use it as a short cut to my most used pages rather than leaving individual widgets of each page.

question again... i dont have any HTC Bookmark widget on any homescreen on my EVO that's why i was asking if you know how to turn it off. I actually dont ever recall accessing the "HTC BOOKMARK" widget.

well, i know it came stock on one of the panels. perhaps those are left over? if you remove the widget from u're homescreen, i don't see why it would still collect those thumbnails.

best advice i could give is remove the widget, reboot, and try to delete. if they still wont delete... there has to be something running in the background making it use those thumbnails. not sure what it would be though....
