It really is great. Watch the tutorials, and the tips and tricks. Don't know I managed typing without it.
It is especially great for long words. Handles words with apostrophes very well. You can also very easily make it learn new words, so slangs aren't a problem. You can even make it learn words made of letters, numbers and symbols (eg
android123@android.com).
It works well on the Desire, although the "double-tap" trick to correct words only seems to work in landscape mode. Also, the Beta seems to have a US English dictionary, although you can put in your own proper English
spellings easily (eg colour instead of color)...
Oh, and it was created by the same chap that created T9 predictive texts.
And the iphone doesn't have it!!! Something about Apple not liking tweaks to their OS......
