Adding e-mail

I don't see why not. I am using gmail, live.com mail aka hotmail, and don't see why yahoo mail would not work either. I do suggest you get a gmail account though and forward your yahoo mail to gmail.

The integration of gmail into the phone\android OS is nice in my opinion. Sync contacts, calendars, voice apps with phone.

That because Yahoo and Google don't play nice in the sandbox, that the Google OS is blocking Yahoo mail. I also think that Yahoo might be blocking POP3 access to their accounts unless you upgrade to Mail Plus for $20 a year. I was able to set up Yahoo accounts on my old Blackberry though, so I think I just screwed the logic on my own answer?

I tried adding it but it won't let me...I also tried forwarding my yahoo mail to my gmail but it said I can't unless I upgrade to premium. I could be doing something wrong there though...

I already added my gmail account since I kinda need it for market and stuff lol

Try this workaround

go to mail icon
add account
enter email address in email address filed (name@yahoo.com)
enter password at password field
select MANUAL SETUP not next
select imap
username= name@yahoo.com
password = yourpassword
imap server= imap.mail.yahoo.com
port=143
security=none
optional = blank
select next

you will then be prompted to sign in do so.

will then be taken to the smptp settings which only prompts (going form memory) you for address which is smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com. leave the port as is. then select next. sign in. name your account and that's it.

Very important, you must have WIFI disabled or this will not work.

Bumping this up again because I tried adding another yahoo e-mail and it kept giving me an authentication error. I double checked the password/username five times and tried two other yahoo e-mail accounts and it gave me the same thing each time. Restarted my phone to see if that helped but no dice.

Any reason as to why this could be? My yahoo account that's currently connected still functions fine so no clue what might be tripping it up.
