As of last night when phone is in Vibrate Mode, I am no longer getting a vibration for my notifications. It behaves as if it's on silent. I changed nothing and have rechecked all settings and everything is as it was..

I know the vibration feature is in fact working bc it still vibrates when I press the volume down rocker, notifying me that it's in vibrate mode....I've tried turning it on and off as well as a battery pull. Don't know what else to do.

This is horrible..Can anyone recommend any suggestions or fixes??

Soft reset your phone
Check under messages -> Menu -> settings -> Notification: Vibrate: ON
Test using the keyboard or a game that uses the vibrator to make sure they still vibrate.
how do u soft reset? When u do that do u lose any data? For that matter, how do u hard reset?

Go download the Sound Manager app. Go into the Sound Manager settings and turn the vibration function on. Uninstall Sound Manager and you'll be set.

I did this and it actually worked!!!! So although it fixed things, any idea why it happened to begin with???? And do we know how often this is gonna happen?

It started for me once I selected some custom notification tones and I think that was the key. I've changed tones more than a few times since I did that and haven't lost the vibration so I don't think we'll have to worry about it again.
