Google My Maps

I created some maps on my desktop from my house to my destination, saved them under My Maps. Then I go to my Droid and open that map, click the blue arrow for navigation and it tells me I have arrived at my house. I know that I am sitting here I want it to go to the final point along the map. How do I get it to do that?

Well, one work-around for this is that when it says you have arrived at your destination, you should have the option to reverse your route. you can do that. I don't use the my maps feature so I am, unfortunately, unable to provide better information.

I might need a little more info from you to help, i'm not sure I understand what your doing completely, but I'll try. While on your phone, if you looking at a map you created from your computer, you should be able to see all the points that you made. You should be able to click on one of the points on the map. To make things easy to navigate to, I turn on "bubble buttons". It really helps to navigate to, or call anything you click on. To turn on bubble buttons go into maps, menu, more, labs, scroll down and select bubble buttons. Now your going to have to close out of maps and open them up again to activate the bubble buttons. Now when you go into "my maps" on your phone, you should be able to click on any of the points you created, then click on the right side of the popup where the blue arrow is and you will navigate to that point. If you don't like bubble buttons, you have to click on the point you want to navigate to, click on the popup, click on the second button from the left (looks like a right turn sign), then select navigate.

Don't add your home as a location. Just the destination. Your droid should know where your at, and by only having the destination, it should load that first when you open that particular map. then just click on the destination, say find directions, and viola your on your way.

Works unless you want to plan a route in advance that doesn't necessarily follow what standard navigation brings up (for example if you want to avoid a certain road or highway).
