Root LG Ally

Can someone try rooting lg ally. I know it's not an epic phone but it's a pretty good phone that gets decent attention.

Amen, this device is so handicapped by its socialite and LG home app that it really kills the phone. This phone could really benefit if just superuser access was granted. Custom roms would be nice, but just being able to remove all the excess baggage from the OS would really help this phone.

Use luncher pro man. It's way better than lg home and it's even faster than android stock ui. I want it rooted cuz of it's stupid 50% dreaded bug crap

WE DIDN'T ROOT IT, COULDN'T EVEN GET TO THE BOOTLOADER, ANYBODY ELSE WANA GIVE IT A TRY???

it roots just like the hero (with asroot2), but that doesnt help much as superuser doesnt run correctly and we have no custom rom/recovery
