Samsung Galaxy S or MyTouch 3G Slide

Well I am a T-Mobile customer and it has mostly been confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S will be coming to T-Mobile. I orignally was just going to get the MyTouch 3g slide until I found out about the Galaxy S which seems very impressive filming and playback of 720p video, 1ghz Samsung Processor, 512mb of Ram, and Android 2.1 with Touch Wiz ui. While the MyTouch slide has some nice features such as a Slide out keyboard and elegant design and the Mytouch slide doesn't feel as iPhonish as the Galaxy S. Also would the Galaxy S be able to be used with Ubuntu based pc. I don't know what do you guys think. Both devices look ike the best T-Mobile Android phones.

i was a long time tmobile customer and had convinced myself that i needed a a physical keyboard for a long time. my cousin had a droid and showed me swype and that completely changed my mind about physical keyboards. even though the samsung galaxy s doesn't have a hard release date on tmobile yet, i would hold out of that phone over the mytouch slide.
The hardware keyboard might not be important to me I can just use the touch keyboard. Swype always felt strange to me whenever I used it. I will probably go the Galaxy S when it comes to T-Mobile USA. My only concern about the Galaxy S is the touch wiz interface makes it look like an iPhone. Would there be a way to disable or replace Touch Wiz.

My Touch pros:
- physical keyboard
- flash on camera
- HTC specific apps
- genius feature

Samsung pros:
- screen size
- screen brightness and resolution
- second (back shoot) camera
- Snapdragon, 1 Ghz processor

I prefer HTC to Samsung as a manufacturer, I have heard some negative comments about Samsung software updates. I have never used a virtual keyboard but can probably get used to it. The Samsung just looks so sexy ;) Ahhhh... decisions, decisions!

Any advice? What else should I consider?

Samsung doesn't have the snapdragon 1GHZ, it has the Hummingbird 1GHZ.
