Their are many cool apps for this phone. I would say some are must haves in the sense that they are cool; i.e. google skymap, layar (in my opinion), etc.

However, what apps do you actually use on your phone often that are incredible functional and that you truly couldn't live without? As of now I'de have to say Places is really the only downloaded app that would fall under this category for me. Maybe Wapedia. Anyone else?

LauncherPro
Handcent
Shapewriter
SystemPanelLite

That's it off the top of my head. I use each of those many times daily.

Where *use it almost like yellow pages
Handscent
Dolphin Browser
mPuzzle (lots of number puzzles, sudoku and many others)
Merian
people widget (set up favorites to use as a speed dial)
Google voice
Meebo IM (gtalk and yahoo messenger for me)
Our groceries (syncs lists with my wife)
mini info widget (battery, sd memory, and memory)
Market and appbrain (still finding apps)
Bible (got a daily reading plan)

I think that is most of my daily use apps.

Digiclock- it serves as a great looking and simple clock. You can also set it as a quicklaunch for other programs! This is a hidden gem!
Dropbox- great for transferring files
Newsrob Pro- with the new dark theme, it is truly the best looking and performing RSS reader in the market currently
Evernote- once you integrate this into your life it will help you organize and remember like you've never done prior.
