Incredible SUCKS!!!!!

I can't believe the issues that I have been having with this phone. I have deleted a lot of my apps deleted mail (and it keeps coming back after being deleted.) This phone is a joke. I should of known better...the other 2 HTC's were pieces of CRAP!!!!!!!

I've been using the Incredible for about 6 weeks now, and have had an excellent experience with it so far. Perhaps you should post some questions to the Incredible forum here looking for answers to the problems you have been having, just a suggestion.

As was said above. If you've had 3 android phones and are experiencing similar issues with them that nobody else seems to be experiencing, the most reasonable assumption is that you are doing something wrong. Perhaps you can give some detailed background on your issues so folks can chime in with suggested solutions.

I'm curious, what type of phones did you have before you migrated to the HTC brand? I've had about 15-20 phones over that past 10 years or so and none of them worked the way an HTC does. Now add the features of the Incredible on top of that and you've got one intelligent piece of equipment. I would suggest posting what exactly you are having trouble with and we would be glad to help you solve your problem.

Sounds like a user error issue to me.

I have another user error to report. When I click on 'Phone' and dial the person of choice, I get about 3 seconds of conversation before the signal fades. Then nothing. I can repeat this activity up and down the highway or at home, or at the office.

Can anyone suggest where this phone actually allows phone calls?

I can suggest returning it if it is broken. You guys can do that without any drama, FYI.

Or you could do the sensible thing and take it up with your carrier?

I was an early adopter of the Incredible - and my experience has been.....well.....Incredible! Best phone I've ever owned.

It does sound like you're just removing apps from your screens, but not un-installing them.

That's my guess as well. I'm also going to guess that he's a former iPhone user. When you delete apps from your screen on iPhones they are deleted from the phone altogether. Android lets you keep apps on your phone and not have them appear on the screen.

With launcher pro or ADW you can hold the app over the trash can for a few seconds. an it will give the option to uninstall.

Not sure what your problems are but it has been my experience that HTC makes some of the best phones running. Any issues, would appear to be software related and probably due more to the carrier. I'm on my second HTC phone and both have been very good.
