Hey guys/girls. I am from Madison, WI and I just picked up my Motorola Droid on Saturday after 3 years of iPhone ownership. I've heard a lot about rooting and ROMs and CPU stuff, but I am by no means an expert in any of this. I just rooted my phone tonight, and I'm excited to see what this little machine is capable of.

I think you'll find that our little phone is capable of quite a lot. Check out the Froyo ROMs once you get your feet wet...the speed is amazing!
Glad to see some one else from Big10 county! Madison is one of the best kept secrets in the US...in my opinion anyway.
