No - this seems to be the recov flash we've been pining for...doesn't help non-rooted devices with root. Sorry. Keep plugging and unplugging that pny micro sd...

The release of this custom recovery and nand unlock works in the favor of a new root method. now that this is finished they can re-devote more resources to finding a better exploit for root. everybody wins!

I think they'll probably look to fully unlocking NAND first.

so this will mean that i can get rid of sense flash it with a stok android 2.2, use setcpu to underclock/overclock? plus many other wonderful things?
