I've placed them on sdcard/eBooks/import as the program says, but when i click to import them it says that nothing is found
So basicly i cant import them

Anyone else with that?
Are there other ways to import them or other readers good as Aldiko?

I've had this happen a few times. I think the first time was because I installed Aldiko on my new phone before purchasing an SD card, so Aldiko didn't get to set up the directories. When I set them up manually it didn't work. Deleting those directories and Aldiko and then doing a fresh install fixed it.

The other times it's happened seemed to be related either to problems reading the card (rebooting fixed it) or to a bad ebook file.

PS. You could try using Calibre to add the books, I think once that worked for me when direct copying didn't.

I've had that problem occasionally, but usually if I just tried again, it would import. Not sure what else to suggest.

Regarding other readers, I've been using FBReader for a while now, and I like it nearly as well as Aldiko. The major advantage, for me, with FBReader is it doesn't use the "bookshelf" paradigm. Just put your epubs in whatever folder you want, tell FBReader (in the settings) where to look, and it'll find them; no importing necessary. It has most of the features that Aldiko has (minus the ones associated with the "bookshelf" concept, of course). About the only feature that I really like in Aldiko that is NOT available in FBReader is the ability to change the screen brightness on the fly. Also, I believe Aldiko has the ability to use CSS stylesheets embedded in the epub, which I don't think FBReader can do. Otherwise, they're very similar.

Hope this helps.

Don't know if you've resolved this or not, but i was having trouble with it until now.

First off, I have the evo. Doesn't make a different, just thought i'd let you know. Second, i didn't have an eBooks folder or import folder until i downloaded a book from aldiko's library. That created the ebooks/import/ directory and it worked beautifully after that.

Hope you see this and it helps!
