Droid X HD Recording

According to Motorola's website, the Droid X will record at max 24FPS. How does that compare to 20FPS? Is it a noticeable difference? Also... has anyone found any video yet of the HD camera in action?

max 24fps? that's only 4 more than my evo i was hoping for a nice solid 30 to put them isheep in there place.

Don't fret. 24FPS is not bad at all. It's what people describe as the "film look" because... well... films are shot at 24FPS. 20FPS though... nobody wants that. lol

The only way to really know is to see video samples of the device. If it's decent, then I will be happy. If it's anywhere comparable to iPhone's video recording, then I will be ecstatic. The EVO's video recording was disappointing and not something to "brag" about.

Engadget has a sample video clip recorded on the Droid X. The 1st vid on the page. It's pretty nice video, and seeing the monster screen record it is almost overwhelming...so...much...screen....

Can't really use that because it's a prototype model. Things could have changed since then. We don't know how old that prototype model is.

Holy crap. Thank you! I wish she had more HD sample vids but I assume that's coming soon. I will have to keep an eye on her. The pictures look ASTOUNDING. I think I orgasmed a little at the quality.

I also am very pleased with the sound quality from the video. It's better than I actually had imagined. It should be even better in the scene modes.

I totally agree. Also, she wasn't bad to look at either. Honestly, it might be stupid for me, but if I can upgrade to this phone for $199 like My Verizon is telling me, then I'm selling this Incredible as soon as I receive my preorder in the mail.

Only 4 more? 20 to 24 is a pretty big difference IMO..

Yeah to a guy that only knows numbers and not FPS in regards to filming, it didn't seem like a huge difference to me, but after researching it a bit, I can tell that 24 FPS will be so great.
