    Root stuck on 2.2????

    I rooted my HTC EVO 4G when it was @ 2.3.3 and flashed a custom Rom and kernel...then I wanted to go back to HTC sense stock rom.....so I used an RUU file for 2.2 and now I want to update to 2.3.3 but when I go to system updates it shows that i have the most current firmware???     Root How To Downgrade 2.3.3

    I have an HTC EVO 4G and i REALLY WANT TO ROOT...but as far as i know, there is no root method for 2.3.3 yet...so i would like to downgrade...if i just download this and run it, will it downgrade me back to 2.2??? The File that i am referring too is an RUU.exe file....will this work?
