    Root CyanogenMod 9 Rom problem

    whenever i plug it in to my computer it keeps saying "connected as installer" when i go to try to change it it says "unfortunatly settings has stopped" and then it goes back to the home screen. i was just going to install a diffrent rom but it wont give me access to transfer files to the phone...

    so i rooted and loaded a custom rom, i was having prblems so i resotred to a backup, but now the superuser icon is still there, but i cant root/re-root my phone. it says my phone is still rooted, i try to unroot and it says i cant unroot it. im using universal androot.

    Root wont stay rooted.

    run universal andrott, then installed the rom manager, then reboot into recovery, works fine there. once i reboot the phone, the superuser icon is gone and i cant reboot back to recovery until i run universal androot again. then the cycle starts all over again.
