    Not sure if its bricked or not

    So, my Nexus 7 seems to be stuck in a boot loop, with a screen saying that it is "optimizing" the apps, then returning to the Android startup screen. I believe that I may be running Android 7 (8?). Would a factory reset help, or should I look at other alternatives?
