I would go to the Dinc part of this site & use the one click method. It worked great for me. Also download Rom Manager. You will need to be rooted to use it. You will see an app called superuser that pops up on the phone when rooted. From the time you have the phone hooked to the phone & rooted, maybe 2 minutes. Very simple to do, & don't worry about bricking your phone. You will love your phone more after being rooted. A whole new appreciation for it.
