FYI: Newegg is an incredibly honest company. The thing with the X being full price if you make changes is not a bait and switch, it simply comes from the underwriting they do as a third-party seller of the phone. You'd see the same thing with Wirefly, and Best Buy. The reason is that unlike buying from a franchised dealer or a corporate store, you aren't buying the phone from Verizon, you're buying it from the seller. What I mean by that is that Newegg buys the phone from VZW first. Because of this and the way their contracts are written with VZW, if you change your plan, they don't get any reimbursements for the phone.
