Ok, I have somehow managed to soft brick my device as a result of a deviation from this guide. I can't get to the home screen of your stock ICS backup at the moment and a relock of the bootloader leads to the device always booting to the bootloader and a message that reads:
*** Security Warning...
So my laptop suddenly decided it doesn't want power from its cord. Power its definitely getting to the brick (green light on the brick) but not from the brick to the laptop.

So I went to open an app that I know I have installed but it doesn't appear in the app drawer nor does it appear on the home screen. It is only able to be opened through the "Open" button on the Play Store page for it :confused:
After seeing a thread earlier discussing the possibility of doing this, I decided to throw together a flashable zip with the audio files from CM 10.2.
As always, always make a backup before flashing anything
Instructions:
1. Download the attached zip file to your device
2. Reboot...
The purpose of this guide is to be able to use the external storage (whatever SD card you may be using) for apps.
