I too have a Samsung Galaxy Portal on the 3 network (in the UK) and the phone is running Android 2.1, but I have a question regarding 2.2. How did you find out that 3 would be releasing the upgrade, and also how would I be able to install the software on my phone? Would I just connect my phone in Kies and select Upgrade Firmware?
I'd be really grateful for any help you can give me.
