I have an unlocked and rooted Verizon Galaxy Nexus running 4.0.4 with Build # IMM76K. I'd like to get Jelly Bean on my phone. I found the following thread over at XDA but I'm a little confused.

I made the changes to make the Hero work with Google Music. But that change let me download a new version of Maps (6.0.3). But this version does not work well at all on the Hero. It's very slow with quite a few force closes. I was wondering if there was any way I could downgrade Maps/Places...
1. Root with Z4Root (see SuperUser app in drawer).
2. Download ROM Manager
3. Open ROM Manager
4. Click Flash ClockworkMod Recovery
5. Click Backup Current ROM
6. Click Download ROM and get your ROM of choice.
7. Click Install ROM from SD Card
Is that it? Everything will be guaranteed...
