Android N will have seamless updates like we have on Chrome OS
We already know most of the new features that will be coming with Android N thanks to the developer previews. However, today we learned about a new feature that wasn't known about before.

Android devices will be able to download OTA updates in the background and then automatically install them once you reboot the smartphone. The days of manually downloading and applying updates will be gone with Android N

oh great...so if you're rooted and you reboot your phone it will try to apply an update on its own without your consent and send you into a bootloop...yay

As more and more people come to realize "update" means "cripple your phone so badly that you are pretty much forced to buy the latest spew from a handful of companies", they are trying to avoid the "updates"

So now, like with Microsoft's WinSpyonU 10, we have no choice?
