AT&T is suing Louisville, Kentucky for making it easier for Google Fiber to come to the city
AT&T's lawsuit says that Louisville's city government exceeded its authority by letting a competitive Internet service(eg Google Fiber) use the city's utility poles after waiting 30 days instead of 6 months like it was before.

This new ordinance also gave competitors the right to move equipment on these utility poles, but it made the mover libel for any damages if they occurred. AT&T says the "city has no jurisdiction under federal or state law to regulate pole attachments".

This lawsuit will likely delay the rollout of Google Fiber to customers and could even make the company cancel their plans entirely.
