    EU wants to make it easier for police to obtain user data
    The EU is looking to make it easier for law enforcement officials to get data from WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google. Three methods of proposed legislation are being put forth to determine how to handle law enforcement requests.

    Ooh, do you have gunshot detectors yet? @Newsbot you'd be surprised at what can already be monitored by Law enforcement already. Combine traffic light cameras with stores, highways and public transit surveillance and it's like 1984 but in a good way. Law enforcement can monitor after the fact with minimal problems. The gunshot detectors belong to them.

    If President Trump can't block people from his tweets you can't opt out of surveillance.
