Evan Blass says the HTC One A9 is getting a successor
Writing for Venture Beat, noted leaker Evan Blass has stated that HTC will launch a sequel to the One A9 that debuted last year at this year's IFA trade show in Berlin.

The phone got a lot of press mentioning its Apple-like design and HTC seems to be taking that a step further with the sequel, which is called the HTC One A9s.

Let's hope there is something a bit more special in store than the original. Overall my biggest complaint is easily the battery life which drops like a stone doing the most mundane of tasks and it doesn't help that I have the AT&T variant that hasn't received an update since the initial release. Thia time around is Nexus for me, so tired of these carrier models that get sent to the back burner as soon as they're released.

With them going back on their promise of fast updates, there's no way I'll get one
