VR on phones is a nice affordable way to break into the world of virtual reality, but it has its limitations. One of the biggest limitations is the lack of gesture-based input, something that typically needs motion controllers to happen. eyeSight is looking to change that with their solution. They let smartphones utilize the rear-faced camera to let you do gesture-based input with your hands. The benefit of this tech is that it can work with most VR headsets, including Google Cardboard and Samsung's Gear VR.
