1. Are you ready for the Galaxy S20? Here is everything we know so far!
Google Play Music is now the default music player on Samsung phones
Google has teamed up with Samsung to make Google Play Music the default music player and experience on Samsung phones. Users can use the app to play tunes both locally and via the cloud, with Google offering space for 100,000 tracks, which is double the space you would normally get. They're also offering a free 3-month trial to Google Play Music for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus buyers.

Chris says you just open up the application and the Google Play Music free trial is something you should see on the home screen of the application

Yeah, it mentions the free 3-month trial / Samsung promo, but nothing about the 100,000 song upload. Actually it mentions the opposite, saying you can upload 50,000 songs.

Maybe you get the 100,000 bump once you actually subscribe to the 3-month trial?

EDIT: Checked Samsung's official page for the Galaxy S8 and it looks like you get the song bump once you sign up for the trial/subscribe to Play Music All Access on the Galaxy S8:
