Here's how to get Adoptable Storage working on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
A lot of people were excited to hear the Galaxy S7 would be released with a microSD card slot, but then they got upset when they discovered Samsung removed the Adoptable Storage feature that comes with Marshmallow.

A workaround has been discovered and it doesn't even require root access. It does, however, require that you setup ADB on your computer and execute a few commands through it since Samsung didn't disable Adoptable Storage, but merely hid it from the UI.

Never really saw the big deal in adoptable storage anyway. I much prefer the internal/external SD setup.

That said, choosing what you like can never be a bad thing and it's a poor show by Samsung to make the choice for people.
