JetBlue announces plans to build a new in-flight entertainment system on Android
JetBlue has just announced plans to convert 130 A320 airplanes to a new in-flight entertainment system.

The software will be built on top of Android and it will have streaming TV, 12-20 Mbps "Fly-Fi" and more with a completion date targeted at 2019

Not exactly newsworthy IMO. I saw an Android in-flight entertainment system on Singapore Airlines two years ago, that had WiFi, streaming TV, etc. Think it was a Thales system, and presumably Jet Blue will be using something similar.
