    Microsoft has announced that Edge -- their next-gen browser -- will soon get mobile launches on iOS and Android. No timeline for the launch has been given other than "soon."

    I'm really wondering why Microsoft are wanting to do this...

    Are they trying to build some greater office365 web app functionality?

    I'm kind of looking forward to trying edge out. I've had good luck with it recently doing things that chrome struggles with.

    Well I guess that gives us another option to somehow connect to work sites that only play nice with Windows browser

    Not a windows user, so no significant experience of it, but in my brief playing I couldn't see any advantage over any other browser (except IE, of course, but few things are worse).

    Not sure why they are doing this, but always nice to have a second browser on hand just in case a page doesn't like ChromeOS.
