Microsoft marked the end of Sunrise Calendar on August 31st back when it purchased the app from its original developers. Many fans of the app were upset, because features that are found in Sunrise haven't been integrated into Outlook as promised. Now Microsoft says it won't be ending Sunrise's shut down as intended until more Sunrise-inspired features make their way into Outlook. These features include integration with social media and productivity apps. Microsoft has given no timeline for how long Sunrise will continue on life support, only stating it will be shut down once all its features are integrated into Outlook.
