    New Android malware called Godless targets 90% of devices in the wild
    Trend Micro says they spotted a new type of malware in the wild called Godless. It carries multiple exploits inside it and is said to be able to root all devices running Android 5.1 Lollipop and lower.

    Trend Micro says they've found "various apps in Google Play that contain this malicious code."

    I didn't realize how small a minority I was (older phone in the US).

    The good news from the article is that Google removed the known apps from the play store. Of course there are probably many, many more.

    I hate criminals...
