Samsung announces the industry's first 256GB UFS 2.0 chip for mobile devices
When Samsung introduced the Galaxy S6, they also announced the industry's first 128GB UFS 2.0 chip as well.

Like clockwork, the company has now been able to fit 256GB on the same type of chip just days after the announcement of the S7. It's unclear if the South Korean tech giant will release a 256GB model of the S7 later this year, or if they'll wait for the Note 6.

Then again, it's possible that Samsung won't even use this chip at all in their own smartphones, but it's too early to tell right now.
