Samsung could be looking to acquire TIDAL, the music streaming service, from Jay-Z
The New York Post is saying that Samsung is back in talks with Jay-Z in another attempt to acquire his music streaming service, TIDAL.

The report cites "several sources" and says that Samsung could be planning to do something very big with the streaming service if they can acquire it.

This doesn't seem like a good idea to me... Unless Jay-Z is just trying to unload it cheaply to avoid mounting losses. But streaming music is too competitive with not enough ways to monetize.

I guess Samsung has money to waste though. Hopefully that don't keep it Samsung only.

Maybe drop the price to something more realistic? Yeah HD audio sounds great, but £240/year is way too rich for most people's pockets.

Don't hold your breath. Their record on that one ain't exactly stellar. ;)
