It was just last week when Snapchat announced they had finished closing $1.8 billion in a series F round of funding. The company isn't slowing down anytime soon either. It's been announced that Snapchat has quietly acquired a mobile app called Seene. The talent will now work on integrating their 3D selfie technology into the Snapchat application. The tech can map different points of your face, which is similar to Google's Project Tango. Except Seene uses your standard mobile camera and not infrared sensors.
