The world's cheapest smartphone runs Android and costs just $1.50
Namotel has announced that they have produced the world's cheapest smartphone. It's called the Namotel Acche Din, and it'll cost the equivalent of $1.50 in India. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and also has some decent specs for the price:

"Namotel Acche Din sports a 4-inch display with 480x800 pixels WVGA resolution. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and packs 1GB RAM. There's 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. There's a 2MP camera at the back and a VGA selfie camera for those who plan on using this thing for taking photos. Connectivity options include 3G and dual-SIM."

The phone is available in India starting this week.
