    This smartphone accessory claims to be able to count food calories by 3D scanning your food
    An interesting new gadget has popped up on IndieGoGo. It's called NutriRay3D,a smartphone accessory that claims to be able to scan your food in 3D and count calories based on the scan. We're not sure how feasible something like this actually is (especially since many calories in food come from sources which can't possibly be scanned) but it does pique our interest.
