Twitter says they are locking down certain accounts thanks to exposed passwords
There's been a lot of reports going on today about millions of Twitter accounts, password and data being exposed by an alleged hack. At first it was assumed this was because of Twitter being hacked, but then Twitter said they weren't hacked and that data was obtained elsewhere.

To keep people safe, Twitter has announced they will be locking accounts for those who have had their password exposed. They haven't said how many accounts they are adding this extra protection to, but previous reports said there were "nearly 33 million" accounts exposed.
