Unannounced Samsung Galaxy S7 Active poses for a few shots
Pictures of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 Active have hit the web, revealing the phone's rugged exterior design. Since the phone is expected to come with IP68 and military-grade drop test certifications, the sleek metal and glass design of the Galaxy S7 has been replaced with a rugged polycarbonate body with shock absorbent rubber trim along its edges. AT&T and Samsung have not made any official statements about the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, but it will likely sell for $50 or $100 more than the standard Galaxy S7.

Consider me not interested. Ever since I ruined my S6 Active by using it in a pool, in the aqua camera mode. I won't fall for that trick again. Called Samsung support and learned the waterproofing and mil-specs are more of a marketing thing rather than actual phone specs therefore the device is not covered for water damage.

But they were happy to let me pay them to repair it for the low sum of $250. WTF?!?!? Sold it in eBay for parts, went with a Nexus 6P.
