    Without publicly backing Apple, Samsung says creating a backdoor would undermine consumer trust
    Samsung has finally made an official statement about the whole Apple encryption debacle.

    The company hasn't publicly backed Apple and they aren't filing an amicus brief like other tech companies are. Still, they have come out and said consumer privacy is extremely important and that backdoors would undermine trust.
