Root wifi tether, so fast

So lets compare. At home I have high speed att internet. My wifi tether is 10 times faster. Lmao!
Anyone else get this speed from it?

edit: 10 times may be an exaggeration, More like 5,lol, just seems faster than really is. In all honesty it is more like 2 or 3.

You either have a very terrible home connection or are encountering an error along the way. The theoretical max speed is something like 3 mbps down and 2 up, as I recall.

I think my prob is I have ATT at home. Lmao. Got a friend with an iPhone and his web is soooooo slow on it. By the time it loads one page I have done updated my face book and started reading these forums. I keep telling him "yup. Droid does fool"
