Robo, it doesn't work that way. The intent of the 30 day policy is to give people the ability to try Sprint(new customers) and/or to try a new device(People like you) to see if they like the service or device. IOW, your 30 days does not start over just because you got a new handset due to hardware issues. Once your 30 days passes, you will be bound by your contract and you will be "stuck" with the handset(EVO in this case). Now if you have hardware issues beyond 30 days, then obviously you can get them worked out thru warranty or insurance/service claims. But you will not be able to jump ship(service or device) after your initial 30 days expires. The big difference after the 30 days expires is they are only required to give you a refurbished handset(or even a similar handset!!!!....not even an EVO...it is in the writing).
To the OP.....it is VERY worth it. I bought two at full price!!!
Don't regret it one bit!
